Last January, we had a record high turnout for the first annual Language & Literacy Institute. We expect this year’s institute to follow suit! The Language & Literacy Advisory Team (LLATé) has been hard at work for several months to hone in on this year’s most needed topics and most sought-after presenters.
LLATé carefully analyzed last year’s institute evaluations as well as evaluations from regional events and Summer Institute. They also examined data from the 2016 MN ABE Practitioner Survey, and, with all this in mind, they have designed a two-day program that you will NOT want to miss!
Some great changes have been put into place in response to your comments. Some sessions are three hours, and others are 90 minutes in length. An earlier end-time on Friday allows those coming from a distance to hit the road while not missing sessions, and several repeated sessions allow attendees to catch (hopefully!) everything they really want to hear.
