Launched by ATLAS in 2012, the goal of ACES is to ensure that ABE programs are able to provide effective contextualized instruction integrating post-secondary education and training readiness, employability skills, and career readiness at all levels.

National Center for Developmental Education

National College Transition Network
Supports adult basic education staff, programs and states in establishing and strengthening ABE-to-college transition services through technical assistance, professional development, collegial sharing, advocacy and increased visibility for this critical sector of the ABE system. Membership is national and covers a range of institutions representing schools, colleges, prisons, community-based organizations and workplaces.

Online ACCUPLACER Test Practice
Available through the Minnesota Literacy Council online training site, this tool was developed by Minnesota ABE instructors in St. Paul and Robbinsdale with funding from a MN Department of Employment and Economic Development Education and Training Collaborative grant. Teachers may use this online preparatory course in their classroom, and/or students may use it independently. Follow the instructions for creating a new account, or use an existing account. Then choose Accuplacer Test Practice.
