Welcome to a new endeavor for ATLAS – open office hours! Join the Zoom on Monday, August 31, between 2:00 – 3:00 pm. This office hour is dedicated to Transitions, and Carly will be sipping coffee, awaiting a conversation with you! (Learn more about Carly Voshell and her experience below)

What is Ask ATLAS in the ATLAS Lounge?
ASK ATLAS is an “office hour,” simply time for an informal, drop-in conversation with an ATLAS staff member. Each of us at ATLAS holds interests and expertise in different areas, and we are eager to talk about teaching and learning with you. Come to connect with others doing similar work and chat with ATLAS folks! Bring your questions, new resources, & frustrations. We’re eager to hear more about your classroom and program.

Carly Voshell has a Master’s of Education and Adult Education certificate from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor’s Degree from Hamline University. Carly spent her first 14 years in ABE teaching at Ramsey County Correctional Facility developing experience with reading, math, GED, and career pathways instruction alongside behavior management, relationship building, and trauma-informed care. At Harmony Learning Center, Carly served as a Workplace and Technology Specialist, which involved digital literacy instruction, coordinating online statewide ParaEducator and Microsoft Office Specialist courses, grant writing and serving on the Ramsey County Workforce Innovation Board. From 2021 to 2026, Carly was a Regional Transition Coordinator for East Metro. She is most interested in finding innovative, collaborative solutions to overcome challenges that face adult education learners and staff. 

Fun fact: Carly is a Hamline alum, so being back on campus is the best of both worlds- reconnecting with familiar places and people while discovering everything that’s changed over the years.
