The Support Staff Online Coffee Break Series returns with Rebecca Jarvis (Metro South) sharing the work of a task force of experienced adult educators who focused on Beginning ESL Literacy learners. The task force addressed concerns and made recommendations surrounding intake, placement, and testing practices for these learners. The specific focus was students who do not read or write in their first language and are new to alphabetic print literacy.
