Phonics is a crucial part of becoming a reader, yet many adult ESL learners lack sufficient decoding skills to be able to sound out and recognize new words, and don’t get adequate phonics instruction in their beginning level classes. In this webinar, you’ll learn phonics activities to help learners with blending, segmenting, and developing phonemic awareness skills. Participants will leave with multiple activities they can use in one-on-one virtual tutoring or online classes, as well as suggestions for making phonics relevant and engaging to learners.
