Volunteer Foundations Training – Core Training Module 3: Instructional Best Practices: Working with Learners

Participants learn how to apply teaching practices that support language and skill development for all learners. These practices include checking comprehension of all learners, using an appropriate level of teacher talk, delivering error correction and feedback, facilitating learner questions, and ensuring that instruction is learner centered.
