Some Numbers Walk into a Language Classroom – Virtual Session

Join Liddy Rich (Harmony ABE), Abby Roza (Ramsey County/Metro East), and Lindsey Cermak (ATLAS) on Friday, April 24 at 9:00 a.m. for a virtual session that was originally offered at the 2020 Language & Literacy Institute.
How could numeracy routines further the language objectives in your classroom? Come engage in some numeracy routines that require minimal preparation and can be used in distance education. The materials are free on the internet. With 20 minutes once or twice a week, you can support your students’ academic language development. These routines are widely adaptable and can be used with students at a variety of literacy, English, and numeracy levels.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You will receive a confirmation email with a link to a short (2-minute) survey that the presenters are requesting everyone to fill out prior to the meeting.
