IMPORTANT NOTICE RE: COVID-19

Given recent developments with the COVID-19 virus, including specific guidance coming from the Minnesota Governor’s office on March 13, ATLAS has decided to cancel the upcoming North Spring Regional for the safety of practitioners and staff. We are currently exploring ways to offer workshops virtually, and will be emailing all current registrants regarding those arrangements.

ATLAS will work with the hotel to cancel all hotel reservations, so that the hotel does not get overwhelmed with calls; if you have made a reservation, it will automatically be cancelled for you at no charge. No further action is required on your part.

Registration Deadline: FRI. 3/20/20 (NOTE: Registrations after 3/20/20 will incur a $15 late fee)

Cost:

• $20 for Thursday only
• $25 for Friday only
• $25 for both Thursday and Friday (get Thursday for free!)

Registration Cancellation Policy:

Due to non-refundable costs incurred for venue bookings and catering, registrations cancelled less than 5 business days prior to an ATLAS-sponsored event will not be eligible for reimbursement and will be billed at the normal rate. If you must cancel after this time, you are encouraged to send a substitute if possible. Thank you for your understanding.

Lodging: 

A hotel block will be reserved at Timberlake Lodge (144 SE 17th Street, Grand Rapids, MN 55744) for Thursday, March 26 for discounted rate of $124 for 2 queen beds; $119 for king bed.  This rate is valid until Wednesday, March 18.  Please note that ATLAS will cover the cost of room and tax for the discounted rate only. After March 18 you will be responsible for any additional incurred expense.  To make a reservation call (218) 326-2600 and mention that you are with the North ABE Spring 2020 Regional.

Hotel Cancellation Policy:

One (1) week prior to check-in (3/19/20). Any ‘no shows’ or late cancellation charges will be billed to your ABE program.

Travel Scholarships:

Hotel and mileage for those travelling more than 50 miles one-way will be covered by ATLAS – no scholarship application required! For more information about submitting for reimbursement, see Travel Reimbursement below, under “Other” details.
