Downloading Mileage Maps

Hamline now requires that mileage claims contain an image from a map site (such as Google Maps) that shows the one-way mileage for that trip.

To download a mileage map to include with your ATLAS invoice, choose one of the two methods below.

NOTE: The map image must include both the route and the number of miles. See examples below.

Method #1: Screenshot

1. Map your one-way route on your map site of choice.
2. Use your phone or computer’s usual screenshot tool/app (for example, the Snipping Tool) to take a screenshot of the map.
3. Save it as a file, and then upload the file to your ATLAS invoice. Example:

Method #2: Save as PDF

1. Map your one-way route on your map site of choice.
2. Open your browser menu by clicking the 3 dots in the upper right corner of the browser screen (depending on the browser, they will be vertical or horizontal).
3. From the menu, choose Print.
4. Choose Save as PDF (instead of actually printing).
5. Save it as a PDF, and then upload the file to your ATLAS invoice.
