Do your students stop thinking about text once they have identified a main idea? Do they struggle to identify what details support an idea? Are they uncertain how to evaluate the quality of details within a text? If so, join us to try guided practice activities designed for ABE students. These activities encourage students to push beyond the main idea to dig deeper into text. Lesson activities are written at CCRS Levels B & C but can be leveled up or down by choosing different text. See how lessons developed for a traditional classroom have been adapted for online instruction. We will also have time for questions, answers, and resource sharing for online reading instruction.

1.5 CEUs will be issued for this webinar. It addresses the relicensure category of Reading (however, note that ATLAS is NOT a relicensing board, and final decisions are left to districts/PELSB).
