Gail Rutan
Senior Events Manager
Gail has over 20 years of experience in event management in corporate meetings & events, incentive travel programs and educational conferences, as well as hospitality management. Gail holds a BA in Mass Communications/Journalism from Winona State University and earned a CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) license in 1995. In addition, she has worked as a frequent substitute teacher for ISD 719 as well as a K-12 academic tutor focusing on reading and math skills. Gail served on the board of the Lakeville Council for Gifted and Talented for 8 years, working closely with Lakeville School District 194 in offering additional enrichment opportunities as well as improving the district’s math curriculum. She also worked with the MN State High School Math League in establishing and maintaining a summer math youth enrichment camp in the Twin Cities for gifted math learners.
As ATLAS Events Manager, Gail manages the logistical planning and coordination of all ATLAS meetings and events, participant and presenter communication, on-site logistical coordination, professional development support, event budget maintenance, and general grant support.

- Presenters: Meeting rooms set-ups, AV, and other logistical requests. Registration, guest rooms, participant number information, copy requests and all venue questions.
- Participants: Registration questions, special dietary and other needs, guest rooms, cancellations, flyer/schedules for meetings and events, CEUs.
- Venues/Suppliers: Guest room blocks, billing, audio visual, set-up questions, schedules, catering, and all logistical concerns.
