Pear Deck makes it easy to add interaction and assessment to Google Slides. Pear Deck activities include multiple choice questions, short written responses, drag and drop, select an area, and more. Pear Deck can be used in teacher-mode for a whole-class activity, or it can be used in student-mode for group or individual work. In addition to being able to create your own Pear Deck slides, there is also a wide selection of premade templates for use before, during, and at the end of your lesson. 

Join ABE teachers Laura Moyer and Alison Bey in this webinar for an overview of Pear Deck. They will demonstrate how they have used it in their virtual classes as well as how it syncs with another helpful teaching resource, NEWSELA. You’ll also have time to practice and ask questions.
