Marisa Squadrito Geisler
Operations Manager
Marisa Squadrito Geisler holds a BA in Spanish and Religion from Gustavus Adolphus College and an MA in Hispanic Linguistics, with a minor in English as a Second Language (ESL), from the University of Minnesota. She taught Spanish for six years at the University of Minnesota before joining Neighborhood House, a multicultural nonprofit in St. Paul that works primarily with immigrants, refugees, and other people from under-served communities. In her eight years at Neighborhood House she served in a variety of roles including Executive Assistant, Volunteer Coordinator, Director of Development, and Grants Manager.
Marisa returned to the education field in 2007 by joining ATLAS, bringing to her work an understanding of adult education and working with diverse populations, as well as valuable connections to community-based organizations. At ATLAS she provides budget management, grant administration, data tracking, and communications, including website management. She is also the creator and editor for MN ABE Connect, the official MN ABE professional development newsletter, and she maintains the MN ABE professional development calendar on the ATLAS website. In addition, Marisa serves as one of ATLAS’s representatives on the MN ABE Professional Development Committee.
