HiSET Practice Exam – Science

HiSET is joining the GED as an alternative pathway to obtain a high school equivalency in Minnesota. This link provides students with an opportunity to assess their science knowledge prior to taking the HiSET exam.

There are two practice assessments, each with 25 questions. Each practice test question identifies what sub-category (life, physical, earth) it is related to, as well as a general leveling of each question (easy, medium, hard). One of the two practice exams provides detailed answer information for each question.

A score above 17 indicating that the student is well-prepared to take the HiSET science exam. There are additional practice exams available for $10 and can be located on the HiSET website. Practice exams are available in English as well as Spanish.
