HiSET Practice Exam – Science

HiSET is joining the GED as an alternative pathway to a K12 degree in Minnesota. This link provides students with an opportunity to assess their science knowledge prior to taking the HiSET exam.

PhET – Physical Science

PhET provides a suite of free, online simulations in a variety of different science disciplines. There are also links to additional resources such as lesson plans and student worksheets. The activities highlighted here are great for HSE (high school equivalency) students interested in biological or physical sciences.

Climate Generation

Climate Generation offers a suite of Grades 3-12 curriculum resources in the form of curriculum guides, as well as online modules that can be downloaded for free. All of these resources are standards-based and interdisciplinary. In addition, there are lessons focusing on energy use and those using polar expedition journals documenting climate change in the arctic.
