ACES Routines
We all want to work smarter, not harder. This often means using our “adaptive expertise” to make existing lessons and activities that were created by someone else work in our classrooms. Do you ever wish that there were more ready-to-use lessons and activities available for use in ABE classrooms? Here’s your opportunity to contribute to the field by sharing your materials.
Do you have a great ACES routine that would help learners to develop and hone their skills in one or more of the TIF categories? They are:
- Effective Communication
- Learning Strategies
- Self-Management
- Developing a Future Pathway
- Navigating Systems
Write up your idea as an ACES Routine and submit it to be shared as part of the TIF 2.0 updates! We are hoping to cultivate a collection of ACES Routines that can be used at a variety of levels and in many different teaching contexts.
To help facilitate a move toward more widespread implementation of ACES/TIF and to get more materials available on our website, ATLAS will offer 1 Continuing Education Unit (CEU) for submitting an ACES Routine. All routines will be reviewed by the TIF 2.0 project leads and advisory team.
