United States Census Bureau Statistics in Schools

The U.S. Census Bureau’s Statistics in Schools program offers hundreds of free activities that teachers can use in any year. Statistics in Schools (SIS) uses Census statistics to create classroom materials for grades pre-K through 12. Developed by teachers and subject matter experts, all activities are searchable by grade level or subject and each one includes a list of needed materials, a student worksheet, and teacher directions.

The SIS site also includes materials specifically designed for the 2020 Census and can be used for pre-K through 12 grade levels and adult English language learners. These new activities have learners use data in interactive ways to build skills in history, math, geography, and English.
