ACES Resources

The TIF is the cornerstone of ACES (Academic, Career & Employability Skills) and was designed to provide ABE programs and instructors with guidance on the effective integration of transitions skills into instruction at all levels of ABE.

ATLAS is working to cultivate a collection of ACES Routines that can be used at a variety of levels and in many different teaching contexts. New routines are available here! Do YOU have a great ACES routine that would help learners to develop and hone their skills in one or more of the TIF categories? Write up your idea as an ACES Routine and submit it to be shared as part of the TIF 2.0 updates! (And earn 1 CEU for your work!)

This folder contains new example TIF lesson plans that were updated in 2023 as part of the TIF 2.0 project, using a newly designed lesson plan template. They include ideas for incorporating important topics like DEI (Diversity/Equity/Inclusion) and SEL (Social Emotional Learning), as well as strategies for adapting the lessons to a variety of delivery models.
