Apply to Host an AmeriCorps Digital Navigator

The Digital Navigation Corps project addresses the digital equity crisis by placing members as Digital Navigators–digital social workers–who help people overcome barriers to connectivity, device access and digital literacy. By hosting a Navigator, your organization can launch or strengthen digital literacy programs that support low-income communities, with a special focus on workforce development, job readiness and employment.

Hear from two of our members, Damari and Riley, who share their perspectives as both community members and program assistants who have benefited from the opportunities that being a Digital Navigator can provide:

In collaboration with AmeriCorps, Literacy Minnesota helps place these members throughout the state – one of whom could be right in your organization! Nonprofits, government agencies and Tribal Nations located anywhere in the United States are eligible to apply.

The Digital Navigation Corps Request for Proposals to host AmeriCorps members beginning January 2026 is now available. Proposals for Digital Navigation Corps projects through Literacy Minnesota must be submitted through an online application by September 1, 2025.
