Best Practices for Intakes with Beginning ESL Literacy Learners
Beginning ESL literacy learners can have unique needs and require more support. To assist intake/support staff in this area, ATLAS collaborated with beginning ESL literacy teachers from across Minnesota to create this Best Practices for Intake and Support Staff document. These recommendations are designed to support more accurate placement and compassionate intake of learners who are new to both English and print literacy.
