This course builds vocabulary, an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a CNA, core medical knowledge and communication skills. It is designed as a hybrid – some in-class time and some independent online study. Each unit includes vocabulary and content activities. The Integrated Education and Training (IET) course is designed to fulfill requirements of the Electrical and Instrumentation Technician Curriculum of PMMI Certification, The Association of Packaging and Processing Technologies. Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan (ISD 196) ABE partners with Goodwill-Easter Seals Minnesota and Dakota County Technical College (DCTC). DCTC contracts with Industrial Insite to provide the specific test prep curriculum and the hands-on soldering curriculum. Industrial Insite purchases and adapts curriculum from IPC. Bringing History Home
Designed and piloted by a partnership between the University of Iowa and an Iowa school district, the Bringing History Home curriculum is comprised of ten sequential units that build student skills and knowledge in history across the K-5 grade level. The mission of Vote Smart is to provide free, factual and unbiased information on candidates and elected officials at the federal, state and local levels. Vote Smart provides candidates' biographical information, voting records/positions on various issues, endorsements, speeches, and contribution history. There are links related to ballot measures, election contacts, and voter registration by locality. For teachers and students, Vote Smart offers a free K-12-level government curriculum and an online “Government 101” tutorial with informative overviews on all aspects of American politics. Read More
Level 1 Interpreter Training Program
Level 1 is an introduction to the terminology used in the Level 2 bridge training called The Community Interpreter (also known in the field as a 40-hour training).
