Fishing and Hunting Regulations Now Available in Hmong, Karen, Somali and Spanish
People who speak Hmong, Karen, Somali or Spanish now can read in their language how to legally fish and hunt in Minnesota. The DNR would like to make available free printed copies of the fishing, hunting and waterfowl regulations in these languages as an educational resource or teaching tool to teachers of Adult Basic Education and English Language Learner courses. We just wrapped up our second ABE Foundations Webinar Series! In lieu of the usual in-person training (done in a normal year at Summer Institute!) this webinar series provided new ABE staff a means to connect both with key leaders in the field and other colleagues new to ABE, as well as a space to ask questions about key content found in the ABE Foundations Schoology course. Showcase Your Work Transitioning Adult Learners
Minnesota State is gathering tools, tips, and best practices, especially with regards to ensuring successful transition into and completion of college-level, credit-bearing postsecondary education. This work will allow Minnesota State to expand its program of awarding Credit for Prior Learning, which can reduce the cost of completing a degree and contribute to student success. Read More
