It’s Not Too Late to Sign Up for the Volunteer Management Conference

Volunteers are an important part of the ABE delivery system in Minnesota. Last year, 1,544 volunteers provided nearly 63,000 hours of service to learners and programs.

To support the use of volunteers in ABE, Literacy Minnesota hosts a yearly conference for coordinators, teachers, managers and other program staff. The conference focuses not only on getting started with volunteers, but also how to support them during their time in the program.

This year’s conference will be Friday, December 2. It will be virtual on Zoom. It’s freeee for Minnesota participants ($20 for out-of-state guests). To register or find out more, go to: https://www.literacymn.org/2022-virtual-literacy-volunteer-management-conference
