Updates on the Teacher Verification Model: A New Pathway to Distance Learning
The Teacher Verification Model (TVM) was launched in March as a new option for Minnesota ABE teachers and programs to count proxy hours for asynchronous lessons that have been verified by a TVM certified teacher. Recorded Webinars from Literacy Minnesota
ABE teachers and tutors have busy schedules, so finding time to attend webinars can be a challenge! Literacy Minnesota has five recorded webinars focusing on remote instruction that can be viewed asynchronously, with accompanying reflection guides which can be submitted for attendance credits that count towards the Foundations of Remote Instruction Certificate and generate CEUs. Summer Institute Poster Sessions Needed
The 2021 Summer Institute Conference will again be virtual. And so will poster sessions. We are looking for people to create virtual poster sessions that will be available for viewing during the conference (and probably after!). Last year, poster sessions had over 800 views! Using Padlet in the Virtual Classroom
Padlet is a digital application that lets users post notes on a digital wall. It is web-based, easy to create and use, and works well both synchronously and asynchronously.
