iPads and Tablets in the LESLLA Classroom
This list of apps and uses for iPads or tablets was specifically compiled by teachers of beginning ESL learners with other teachers in mind. With suggestions of apps that build reading foundations skills, numeracy, and digital literacy for ESL learners with limited or interrupted formal education, this list can help integrate ABE standards in a targeted, self-paced, and differentiated manner. Even without mastering keyboarding or mousing skills, students can successfully access technology to practice the skills they need.
