Certified Nursing Assistant Credential
To become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Minnesota an individual must successfully complete an approved nursing assistant program in Minnesota and successfully pass the competency evaluation exam.
Once these two steps are completed the individual is placed on the Nurse Aide Registry and is considered a Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR).
Nursing Assistant Training prepares people to provide “Activities of Daily Living” (ADLs) to residents or patients in health care settings; nursing homes, Long Term Care Facilities and Hospitals.
