Personal Care Assistant (PCA) / Community First Services and Support (CFSS) Credential

Minnesota law requires all individual Personal Care Assistance (PCA) providers to take the Department of Human Service’s (DHS) Individual PCA training and pass a one-time online test. Individual PCAs may take the training and test as often as needed. Note: Community First Services and Supports (CFSS) has replaced PCA and the Consumer Support Grant (CSG) effective Oct. 1, 2024. PCA and CSG will be phased out as members transition to CFSS.
